  •  Beginning of class- Students will research various plays and musicals and comment their ideas on the theater blog.
  • Provide different scenarios for improv. Example:Teenager tries to sneak out of house to go to a party but gets caught by little brother.
  • Students will participate in various improvisation skits. Students should learn how to think quick and creatively, staying in character.

  • Character Development – Students will think of a particular character in a TV show or film and will create a profile for that character. What do you think makes them mad? What’s their favorite food? What is their favorite quote? What piece of advice would they give? What do they look like? Describe how they dress.
  • Find a monologue where they are speaking that you’d like to perform in front of the class.
